Interview with Johnny No Bueno

Book Release Party for “We Were Warriors”

On 12/12/12 (Wednesday, December 12th, 2012), Johnny No Bueno and University of Hell Press will be having a book release party at Slabtown (1033 NW 16th Ave, Portland 97209, ph 971-229-1455) celebrating Johnny’s book We Were Warriors. Show begins at 7:00pm and is FREE. There is NO cover, but there will be drink specials.

The evening will be hosted by Brian Tibbets and, besides party boy Johnny, features additional readers including Davey Mac, Leah Noble Davidson, Eirean Bradley, Lindsey Kugler, and Brian Ellis.

Come meet Johnny, congratulate him, buy his book (for only $10), and then make him sign something rude and inappropriate inside.

Interview with Lindsey Kugler

Our very own Lindsey Kugler was interviewed recently by Amy Souza, a student in the IPRC’s Comics Certificate Program. The IPRC is the Independent Publishing Resource Center located in Portland, Oregon and has been in operation since 1998. According to the IPRC’s website, their mission is to “facilitate creative expression, identity and community by providing individual access to tools and resources for creating independently published media and artwork.”

Lindsey completed her book HERE. as a student of the IPRC’s Certificate Program in Independent Publishing. Her interview provides insights into her journey and her process.
